About Me

I’ve had an interest in golf from a young age, and have been lucky enough to play at Woburn from the age of 7. At 13, I started at Millfield boarding school but it wasn’t until the sixth form I decided to join the Millfield Golf Academy. This involved weekly lessons, 3 practice sessions as well as sessions at Burnham and Berrow golf club.

On returning home at 18 I was unsure on my career path, having interests in motorsport, design and technology as well as golf. I spent 2 years working and playing golf part time but in doing so I realised that golf was the career I wanted to pursue.

In 2014 I began lessons with a coach at a local club and started working with Grant. I was entering local club competitions as well as playing matches for the Woburn scratch team. After 18 months it was time to take the next step to progress my career. I knew I wanted to be coached by someone of high calibre and who worked with high profile players, this led me to Nick.

The long term goal was to become a professional golfer, but in order to achieve this it would require a complete rebuild of my swing and having complete faith in both Nick and the process, as this was not going to be a quick fix.

Over the next 3 years I continued to play amateur golf tournaments to keep my game sharp and test the swing changes we were making in a competitive environment, including entering The Open Qualifying.

In the summer of 2018, Nick and I discussed my options for the following year, to turn Pro and start the next step. Since then we have been working on fine tuning my swing in preparation for my first Pro events during the winter. At the beginning of 2019, I spent 2 months playing on the Portugal Pro tour to see where my game was at and from this we decided that I should enter into 2019 Europro qualifying as we felt this was going to be the best test of my game.
